One dies, others injured on their way from Amai Tsvangirai's burial

Francis Muswere, the MDC district chairman for Makoni Westconstituency in Manicaland province died last night in a car accident while others were seriously injured in Rusape on their way from the
burial of Amai Susan Tsvangirai in Buhera.

Muswere died on admission at Rusape hospital while four others he was travelling with were injured and are admitted at the same hospital.

In a separate accident, several MDC supporters coming from the burial were injured in a bus accident at exactly the same spot where an accident claimed the life of Amai Susan Nyaradzo Tsvangirai last
Friday.

The circumstances of the accident were not clear by the time of going to press.

The area has since been declared a dark spot and warning signs are being erected at the spot to warn motorists and pedestrians.

Amai Tsvangirai was buried in Buhera yesterday at a colourful ceremony where over 40 000 people attended the burial.
