Prime Minister Tsvangirai officially commissions five libraries
in Budiriro

The MDC President and
Zimbabwe's Prime Minister, Morgan Tsvangirai today commissioned
a library at one of the five primary schools in Budiriro in Harare
which have received about 20 000 books and computers worth thousands
of dollars.
The books were sourced
by the Science and Technology minister and Budiriro MP, Professor
Heneri Dzinotyiwei from the government of South Korea.
Hon. Tsvangirai said
the inclusive government was committed in investing in the youth
through education.
"The signing
of the Global
Political Agreement (GPA) in 2008 has seen the economy stabilising.
As a result more foreign investors are showing a keen interest in
investing in the country and we hope this will go a long way in
creating employment for the youths," he said.
He also said they was
need to follow the development taking place in South Korea, which
has seen the country being the rated the 8th strongest economy in
the world.
The Korean government also gave the five schools, which are run
by the Harare City Council, shelves and tables.
The event, which took
place at Budiriro Three primary school, was attended by thousands
of school children from the five primary schools, senior government
officials who included Professor Dzinotyiwei, Water Development
and Resources minister, Hon. Samuel Sipepa Nkomo, National Housing
minister, Hon. Giles Mutsekwa, deputy Information and Publicity
minister, Hon. Murisi Zvizvai.
Also present was the
Mayor of Harare, Muchadeyi Masunda and several councillors, Korean
ambassador, Do Young-Shim and the South Korean business delegation.
