  • Madzore denied bail at the High Court
    Movement for Democratic Change (MDC)
    October 20, 2011

Solomon Madzore, the MDC Youth Assembly chairperson was denied bail this morning at the High Court.

Justice Hlekani Mwayera denied granting Madzore bail claiming that he was a flight risk candidate. Madzore is part of 28 MDC members who are facing false charges of murdering a police officer in Glen View, Harare in May. He is detained at Chikurubi Maximum Prison.

However, Justice Mwayera granted a US$500 bail to Lovemore Taruvinga Magaya who is facing similar charges.
