MDC welcomes Mai Mutinhiri
Movement for Democratic Change (MDC)
May 10, 2012

The MDC warmly welcomes Mai Tracy Mutinhiri, a former senior Zanu PF official, Marondera East MP and Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Welfare into the People's Party of Excellence.

As a party, the MDC cordially accepts Mai Mutinhiri's application to join the MDC as a card carrying member.

By joining the big happy MDC family, Mai Mutinhiri will find peace and joy as we move towards bringing real change to the people of Zimbabwe.

We encourage other Zanu PF members, supporters and ordinary peace loving Zimbabweans to emulate and take courage by leaving the sinking and sunset party - Zanu PF.

The MDC is a broad-based and popular people's party led by President Morgan Tsvangirai.

The party has taken the Zimbabwean political landscape by storm since its inception in September, 1999.

In the 13 years of its existence, the MDC has re-defined the Zimbabwean political landscape, bringing along with it a refreshing atmosphere of dynamism and excitement.

The MDC is a party for the people and of the people; it represents the present and the future of Zimbabwean politics.

As a party, we derive our legitimacy from the generality of the people of Zimbabwe who now appreciate that they cannot feast on the past without engaging the future and seeking to positively influence the manner in which the country is governed and going forward.
