Condolences on the passing on of Amai Vesta Sithole
Movement for Democratic Change (MDC)
September 23, 2012

The MDC has received with sadness the news of the passing on of Mrs. Vesta Sithole, the widow of the late Zanu Ndonga leader Reverend Ndabaningi Sithole. Amai Sithole fought in the liberation struggle that brought independence to this country. She left Rhodesia in 1964 for Zambia to join the liberation struggle.

The MDC demands that Amai Sithole be declared a national hero. She like her husband the late founding president of Zanu Reverend Ndabaningi Sithole contributed significantly to the liberation of this country from colonial rule.

The MDC family joins the Sithole family in mourning Amai Sithole.
