Statement of the tragic death of Steve Irwin

We would like to express our deepest regret and sadness over the tragic death of Steve Irwin. The wildlife kingdom, and indeed the world has lost a very special person. Steve will always be remembered for his courage and compassion with animals. We always had the utmost admiration for him as we watched him on TV in awe and amazement.

Sincere condolences to Terri, the children, Steve's father and all Australians - the whole world is mourning with you.
